crawl space waterproofing

Crawl space is a variation of basement in which one crawls around. It’s primary purpose is to promote air circulation through the home and also allow easy access to plumbing, electrical and other such maintenance, repair and installation needs.

A crawl space has several advantages over basements and slabs: It gets the house up off the ground (especially important in damp or termite-prone areas). It is a lot less expensive than a basement and comparable in price to a slab.  Crawlspace cannot be utilized as a living space, it can be used for storage of infrequently used items at home.

Our vapor bright membrane system completely isolates your home from the earth, dramatically reducing the humidity level in the air. Lower humidity levels reduce or, in some cases, eliminate mold growth, rot, and critters from your crawl space, making the entire house healthier.

We access and inspect your crawl space for any structural damage to the floorboards, walls, ceiling and lay out our system

Once completed we then add our silver board insulation to the walls which helps keep the heat in the winter and cold during the summer.

After insulating the interior crawlspace walls(which is usually a block foundation) we add our membrane to the ground and up parts of the wall to completely encapsulate your crawlspace now making free of moisture, critters and now saving you money on your energy bills.

We ensure to avoid the following crawl space repair blunders

1.  Spray Foam a wet or damp crawlspace foundation wall

2. Staple a vapor barrier to the floor joists

3. Insulating a damp crawlspace with fiberglass insulation

4. Improper drainage system installations

5. Venting the dryer into the crawlspace

6. Insulating heat ducts in a crawlspace with fiberglass

We use VaporBright™ a 10 -mil commercial grade vapor barrier ideal for crawl spaces to seal your crawl space, lower energy costs, eliminates odors, reduces humidity levels and gain storage space.
